Teresa has a vast experience working as a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) lead, clinical supervisor and line manager. In her private practice, Teresa is working as international supervisor for practitioner psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, charities and companies and is dedicated to continuously improve her skills and knowledge in this field. After finishing formal education, she continued professional training and has advanced knowledge, skills, competence and experience as a supervisor.
Teresa is an Approved Supervisor with Florida Mental Health Counselors Association and is on the Register of Mental Health Practice Supervisors. She has trained in post graduate clinical hours for trauma clinical certification (CCTP) and certified in EMDR, ART, EFT, TF-CBT, PCIT, DBT, Neurofeedback (NFB) and Biofeedback (BFB) and Quantitative EEG (gEEG). Supervision is offered at her private practice in Palm Harbor, Florida as well as on-line through video platforms.
Inspiring and motivating others, developing and enhancing skills, broadening knowledge, developing critical thinking, helping to achieve academic potential, boosting creativity, facilitating “outside the box” thinking, is something Teresa is passionate about. She has a experience as an invited graduate and post-graduate lecturer and international CPD trainer. Teresa currently offers a variety of different CPD trainings in the field of clinical counseling, and psychotherapy. All CPD trainings are delivered face-to-face.
Fees
To support mental health care education and provision of professional help, reduced supervision fee applies for psychologists and psychotherapists in training. Teresa McKenna believes that practitioners starting their own private practices will benefit from additional support, so she offers reduced supervision fee through the first year of establishing a private practice.

Teresa McKenna, is a registered provider for several private health insurance companies such as Aetna, Aetna EAP, Cigna, UHC EAP, BCBS, CompPsych, Humana, Optum, Optum Medicare, Optum EAP, and Curalink EAP who can offer reimbursement on session fees. Teresa McKenna is also eligible for registering with other insurances so please contact us to enquire. If you have health insurance you will usually need to provide a claim number to authorize sessions.
